What is Pisang Peak?

Pisang Peak is one of the non-technical trekking peaks located at Manang, Nepal at the height of 6091m. The name Pisang Peak is derived from Pisang Village. It has a pyramid on the summit.

The Pisang Peak Climbing begins from Pisang village(3300m) and to get Pisang from Kathmandu we have to trek 4 days from Kathmandu. It starts with the Annapurna Circuit trekking trail. After submitted Peak, you can return same way that you used to reach there or you can continue to Annapurna Circuit Trekking which will be finish at Jomsosm.

Located at Annapurna Region, Pisang Peak offers great views of Annapurna Himalayana Range as well as Beautiful Manang scenery.

In 1955, Germany Mountaineering team climbed Pisang Peak first 1955. Basic knowledge of mountaineering plus some climbing experience people can conquer this peak.

If you don’t have time to do Pisang Peak Climb with Annapurna Circuit trekking, you can back from Pisang using Jeep. Though we can go to Pisang Village by Jeep, it’s not good for acclimatization. We should have enough acclimatization to climb 6091 peak(Pisang).

The peak offers splendid views of the Annapurna range including Annapurna II and IV, Glacier Dome,Gangapurna, Khangsar Khang, Tilicho Peak and Cholu Peak.
