I did the Khopra Ridge trek in November 2019.
Before the trip, I had a lot of questions and Base Camp Hike did always respond quickly and detailed. They can also advise which trek is best for you. Also, they will advise on what equipment you’ll need and they can tell which of that you can also buy (might cheaper) in Nepal.
I choose Khopra Ridge trek because it’s less known than other short treks (ABC etc.). Also, I didn’t want to have a one way and back trek.
Everything was perfectly well organized and from the beginning I felt comfortable. I had a really experienced guide (Jarayam). This trek is new (since about three years) so there are not so many guides who already have experience with this trek. The trek was the perfect choice for me because as expected it’s off the beaten trek (expect for poon hill) and views are brilliant. At Khopra Danda and also Dobato (Mulde viewpoint) you will get superb and near views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range. During the trek, we were quite flexible and I also took one day rest in Dobato.
I can totally recommend Base Camp Hike for your trekking in Nepal. Don’t wait any longer and go explore the beautiful Himalaya.

My adult son and I just finished (April 20-26) our trek with Base Camp Hike. I cannot say enough good things about them. Jayaram, the owner, responded very quickly to my initial inquiry and from that moment forward he was very helpful and responsive to all of my questions. He coordinated all of our transportation and lodging from the moment of arrival at the airport.
Our guide, Kamal, met me at the airport and rescued me from the chaos of Kathmandu. The trek itself was simply amazing. I will carry this experience with me for the rest of my life. The culture and scenery of the Annapurna region are unlike anything I have ever seen. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about the trek as well as Nepali life, in general. Our porter, Dependra, was also fantastic. If you are considering trekking in Nepal you simply cannot go wrong by choosing Base Camp Hike. The entire staff is supremely professional, friendly and competent. They are wonderful ambassadors for the trekking industry and for Nepal.

We trust Jayaram (Owner) completely to consider all of the important details of trekking in Nepal, from risk management to the quality of the experience.
Thanks so much! We were very happy with our experience with Base Camp Hike.
No. You don’t need. IF you can walk 5-6 hours a day , you can do this trail. But we suggest to do some walking practics before some months to do trek.
You will get Teahouse accommodation on most of the places but on Khopra Ridge and Chistbung, there are community lodges.
Expect Khopra Ridge Loge and Chistubung Lodge you will get Non-vegeterain food items. But for the vegetarian food, you will get easily everywhere lodge.
All the places you will get menu, from where you can choose what to eat.
Sure, you will get mineral water almost everywhere on KHOPRA. Some places banned Mineral water to reduce plastic pressure on environment. The places where you can’t find Mineral water you can get safe drinking water but you should have your bottle to fill Water.
Off course, if you book Khopra trip with Base Camp Hike. Because we have guide who already did Khopra Khayar Lake jorney more than 10 times.
You must have sleeping bag during the winter season and main trekking season in Nepal. For the rest of time because of less tourist they can provide you blankets.
Normally 6 to 7 hours a day on average.
Yes. Every places you can get a hot shower but for it you should pay money 1 USD to 3 USD.
Trekking poles is like a extra leg if you use it. Specially it helps a lot maintain your legs on good conditon.
Here I have mentioned all most all things that trekkers should know to do Khopra Hike.
If you wish to do new trekking in Annapurna, don’t think more. Khopra trek is the best option to avoid tourists’ traffic problems in Annapurna. For the duration, you can make either shorter or longer as your preferences.
