PIKEY PEAK TREKKING ITINERARY IN DETAIL
Day 1: Kathmandu to Dhap
You’ll drive to Dhap with our trekking Guide and porters through the Highway using a public Jeep or public bus. However, if you want to get a Private Jeep(for comfort journey), we can provide you Private Jeep at an extra charge. After arriving at the Dhap, you will see numerous mountains including Everest.

Day 2: Trek to Jhapre
After breakfast, today you’ll trek along with the picturesque village Shigane, capturing the beautiful view of the highest peak, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, and many more. Upon arrival at Jhapre, overnight stay at Jhapre.

Day 3: Trek to Pikey Base Camp
Today, you’ll walk through an uphill trail with stone-paved steps to the Yak Pasture. We’ll walk through the Mani wall and local houses.
Upon reaching Pikey Base Camp, we’ll check into the Teahouse where we’ll stay overnight. Afterward, we can hike to Pikey Peak Viewpoints for Sunset(if weather permitted) which takes approx 1 and half hours, and back to the teahouse.

Day 4: Hike to Pikey Peak (4065m) and Trekking to Phaplu
We will wake early in the morning and hike to Pikey Peak in order to get sunrise view from Pikey Peak View Point(4065m).
From Pikey Peak, you’ll be able to see a heavenly view of the snow-capped mountains such as Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Dhaulagiri, Choyou, Makalu, and Shisapanba which are renowned as the tallest peak in the world.
On return time from the peak, you will see Yak. If you’re interested in the taste of the Cheese and Yogurt of Yak, you can try it at the Teahouse. The trek continues up to the Phaplu, crossing the Jasmane Bhanjyang.

Day 5: Drive back to Kathmandu
Drive to Kathmandu using a sharing Jeep or Local Bus(Depending on availability). On the way to Kathmandu, we’ll have Lunch. Upon reaching your hotel in Kathmandu, our trekking will be finished.
