Trekking agencies must have membership or approval from the following associations.

Base Camp Hike Pvt Ltd has all the required documents accepted by concerned authorities, as below. This is why we are proud to be a legally registered trekking agency in Nepal.

Base Camp Hike is registered under the Office of Company Registrar. Our company’s licensed number is 209391/075/076. Base Camp Hike Pvt Ltd is a Private Limited Company.

Base Camp Hike pays 13% VAT and tax to the Inland Revenue Department. Our VAT number is 606703479, issued by the Inland Revenue Department of Nepal.

Base Camp Hike is a general member of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN). TAAN is an umbrella organization of all trekking agencies in Nepal.

Base Camp Hike has foreign money transaction authority because we are licensed by the Central Bank of Nepal, known as Nepal Rastra Bank.

To obtain trekking permits for tourists, trekking agencies must register with the Nepal Tourism Board. Base Camp Hike is registered with the Nepal Tourism Board, and our tourism license number is 2679.
