Manaslu Circuit Trek is geographically marvelous and culturally rich. It starts from Soti Khola or Machha Khola and ends at Besisahar or Dharapani.

The popular Manaslu trekking route of 177 kilometers skirts the Manaslu massif over the pass down to Annapurna. Manaslu is the 8th highest mountain in the world at 8,163 meters (26,781 ft) above sea level. It is located in the Mansiri Himal, part of the Nepalese Himalayas, in the west-central part of Nepal.

Manaslu is the highest peak of the Gorkha District. Samagaun (3350M) is one of the famous places on the Manaslu region trek. This village lies just opposite part of Mt. Manaslu (8167m)which is one of the top 14 mountains above 8000-meter height.

If the weather is clear you can see the sunrise on the top of mt. Manaslu and most of the trekkers take 2-day rest in this place so then they can go to the lake near the village called Birendra lake.Minimum two people need to get permits for Manaslu.
